Another fantastic game of rugby played by the development team who again started the strongest . The Tows dominated the first half with a try from centre Pepe Nanci under the 10 min mark and fly half Ben Young putting boot to ball to get Tows off the mark, Both sides had sections of the game where they took control and the Hornets tested Tows defense on numerous occasions only to come away empty handed but as the half went on Tows kept the pressure on but couldn't manage to cross the white wash and when they did the ref called it as held up , Rob Lees got his marching orders on the 37th minute for playing the ball on the ground so had a ten minute cool down this is when the Tows should have stepped up a gear they went to sleep to let a Hornets player run through unchallenged to even the scores HT 7-7 . The 2nd half the Tows started well again and showed they had the force to push the Hornets scrum about with a player down but it was fly half Ben Young with his centers Dave Devlin Jones and Pepe Nanci that dictated the pace which was becoming faster and faster , Both sides started to make mistakes and with the ref being on form didn't let many things go which was frustrating for both sides as they just wanted to keep playing but the Hornets forced the Tows to making a mistake on the 76th minute and within kicking distance they took full advantage and slotted over the penalty kick , Tows booted long from the restart to force the Hornets into the own 22 and with Tows line speed they soon but the side under pressure to clear away but they failed twice and with a fumble it gave the Tows side the chance to even the score , This wasn't as close as the Hornets penalty but Ben Young gave it his best shot but it drifted off to the right of the posts FT 10-7 . There isn't any concerns that this team are not playing well they are playing great rugby but its purely down to making mistakes and at this level any team in this league even us will punish you .
