The home side wasted little time making their mark, with Regan Cashman crossing for the opening try after just five minutes. Harrison West added the conversion to give Towcestrians an early 7–0 lead.

Towcestrians continued to apply pressure and were rewarded again on six minutes, with Ellis Harry going over for another try. West made no mistake with the conversion, extending the advantage to 14–0.

The hosts were firmly in control and continued to find gaps in the visiting defence. Jayden Oliver added another try on 18 minutes, before Lucas Sanger crossed in the 29th minute. West converted both scores, putting Towcestrians firmly in command.

With the home crowd enjoying an impressive attacking display, Towcestrians went into the break with a sizeable lead.

The second half saw a number of changes as Towcestrians managed their squad, with Joe Brown introduced for Alex Pittaway at half-time.

Brown wasted little time making an impact, scoring Towcestrians' next try just four minutes after coming onto the field. The hosts continued to push forward, while further substitutions saw Harry Knibbs and Ali Haynes enter the action.

Haynes would go on to make his mark too, crossing for Towcestrians' sixth try on 61 minutes. The hosts were briefly reduced to 14 men when Oliver Comeford was shown a yellow card, but they continued to look dangerous despite the setback.

The scoring was completed in the 72nd minute when Ellis Harry successfully kicked a conversion, rounding off an excellent afternoon for the home side.

With a strong attacking display, contributions from across the squad and plenty for the home crowd to enjoy, Towcestrians made the perfect start to the season.

Towcestrians' opening-day performance will give the squad plenty of confidence as they look ahead to their next fixture.
