TOWCESTER SAUSAGE AND CIDER FESTIVAL
WHAT'S HAPPENING: Live music, 40+ real ciders, gourmet sausages, including gluten-free and vegetarian options, made by Brown's Gourmet Sausages in Northamptonshire.

All ciders are sourced from artisan producers in the UK. There will also be a bottled craft cider bar run by CiderBods - www.ciderbods.co.uk - the online club for real cider drinkers, serving a range of ice cold sparkling cider.

HOW IT WORKS: The festival is pay to enter. Adult tickets are £5 whch includes a branded, souvenir pint cup. You can buy in advance or pay on the day. Tickets will go on sale in April.

Children and under 18s are free. The festival supports grass roots sport in South Northants by helping to raise funds for Towcestrians RFC.

No-one under the age of 18 is permitted to drink or be served alcohol. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the festival. All bags will be checked on arrival.

Cider is available to take away in two pint containers. Cider is £3.50 a pint. £1.80 a half. Lager, beer and a range of other alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the club bar.

A hot dog from Brown's Gourmet Sausages is £3.50.

Feel free to bring camping chairs, picnic rugs and sun shades. Sorry but no picnic hampers and no dogs!

LOCATION: The festival takes place at Towcestrians RFC in Greens Norton Road, Towcester, NN13 8AW. Lots of free parking available on site.

2015 OPENING: Saturday August 15 noon to 11pm.

STUFF FOR KIDS: Kids are welcome and get in for free. There will be face painting and a bouncy castle in the afternoons, but the event is mainly aimed at adults.

CAMPING: There is no public camping.

DOGS: Sorry, it is a pooch free party.
